The reason for this work was a simple question, which has been intensively related to the digitization of our areas of life since the 1990s.
Can information alone create responsibility with regard to the knowledge I have obtained through this information?
Does the knowledge of something automatically lead to a responsibility to think about whether something needs to be done?
When does knowledge through information already create responsibility against to what I have gained information about?
Is not this very closely connected with my own limited possibilities of action?
In the meantime this 4.5 seconds could be increased to more than 5 seconds, luckily.
Anlass für diese Arbeit war eine einfache Frage, die intensiv mit der Digitalisierung unserer Lebensbereiche seit den 1990er Jahren in Zusammenhang steht.
Kann Information alleine eine Verantwortung begründen, durch das, was ich erfahren habe?
Zieht uns Wissen über Etwas automatisch in eine Verantwortung, darüber nach zu denken, ob etwas getan werden muss?
Wann eigentlich begründet Wissen bereits eine Verantwortung gegenüber dem, worüber ich Informationen erlangt habe?
Und: ist das nicht aufs Engste verbunden mit meinen eigenen beschränkten Handlungsmöglichkeiten?
In der Zwischenzeit konnten übrigens glücklicherweise die 4.5 Sek. auf über 5 Sek. angehoben werden.
